By accessing our website, placing an order, or purchasing a product from Snake River Creations, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.

1. About Snake River Creations

Snake River Creations creates handcrafted, personalized, laser-engraved, UV-printed, and custom products, including wooden gifts, cutting and serving boards, family games, home décor, ornaments, signs, pet-related products, sports accessories, and other specialty items.

2. Products and Handmade Variations

Many Snake River Creations products are handmade and/or created from natural materials such as wood.

Natural wood varies in grain, color, knots, markings, texture, and engraving characteristics. These variations are part of the natural character of the material and are not considered defects.

Because many products are individually made, the product you receive may have minor differences from photographs shown on our website, Etsy shop, social media, advertisements, or other sales channels.

Computer monitors and mobile devices may also display colors differently. We cannot guarantee that the color displayed on your device will exactly match the finished product.

3. Personalized and Custom Orders

Customers are responsible for providing accurate personalization information when placing an order.

Unless we make the error, Snake River Creations is not responsible for misspellings, incorrect dates, incorrect numbers, or other errors contained in personalization information submitted by the customer.

4. Proofs and Design Approval

For certain custom products, Snake River Creations may provide a digital proof before production.

If a proof is provided, it is the customer's responsibility to review all spelling, names, dates, layout, artwork, and other details.

Once a proof has been approved and production has begun, changes may not be possible.

Approval of a proof constitutes authorization for Snake River Creations to manufacture the product as shown.

5. Customer-Provided Artwork, Logos, and Photographs

When submitting photographs, logos, artwork, graphics, trademarks, or other materials to Snake River Creations, you represent that you own the material or have permission and any necessary rights to use it and authorize us to reproduce it for your order.

You agree not to submit material that infringes another person's or organization's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property rights.

Snake River Creations reserves the right to decline any order involving artwork, photographs, text, logos, or other content that we believe may violate applicable law or the rights of another party.

6. Product Images and Custom Work

Unless otherwise agreed, Snake River Creations may photograph completed products for quality-control, portfolio, website, social media, or marketing purposes.

We will make reasonable efforts to avoid publicly displaying sensitive personal information.

If you do not want your personalized product photographed or used for promotional purposes, please contact us when placing your order.

7. Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change at any time without notice. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted and paid for.

We reserve the right to correct pricing, product-description, promotional, or typographical errors.

If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you before processing the order and provide the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order for a refund.

8. Payment

Payment must be successfully completed before an order enters production unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

Orders may be subject to applicable sales taxes and shipping charges.

Payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers. Snake River Creations does not control the policies or services of third-party payment processors.

9. Order Changes and Cancellations

Because many Snake River Creations products are personalized or made to order, production may begin shortly after an order is placed.

If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes or cancellations, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled once design work, engraving, printing, cutting, painting, assembly, or other production has begun.

Personalized or custom products that have entered production may not be eligible for cancellation or refund.

10. Returns and Exchanges

Because personalized and custom products are made specifically for the customer, they generally cannot be returned or exchanged unless the product arrives damaged, defective, or we made an error in fulfilling the order.

Eligibility for returns of non-personalized products may depend on the return policy displayed at the time of purchase.

Customers should contact Snake River Creations promptly if there is a problem with an order.

We may request photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping materials to help us evaluate damage, defects, or fulfillment errors.

Please do not return a product without contacting us first.

11. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We take pride in our workmanship and want customers to receive their orders in good condition.

If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us promptly after delivery and provide:

12. Shipping and Delivery

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Additional shipping charges resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer may be the customer's responsibility.

Snake River Creations is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or events outside our reasonable control.

13. Lost or Stolen Packages

If tracking information indicates a package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please check around the delivery location and contact the shipping carrier when appropriate.

Contact Snake River Creations if additional assistance is needed.

Claims involving lost, damaged, or missing packages may be subject to the policies and claim procedures of the shipping carrier.

14. Cutting Boards and Food-Contact Products

Wooden cutting boards, serving boards, cookie boards, charcuterie boards, and similar products require appropriate care.

Customers should follow the care instructions provided with the product or made available by Snake River Creations.

Unless specifically identified as dishwasher safe, wooden products should not be placed in a dishwasher or submerged in water.

Natural wood can warp, crack, split, discolor, or otherwise become damaged when exposed to excessive moisture, extreme temperatures, improper storage, or improper cleaning.

Damage caused by misuse, improper care, dishwasher use, prolonged soaking, excessive heat, or failure to follow care instructions is not considered a manufacturing defect.

15. Decorative Products

Products sold as decorative items are intended for decorative purposes unless specifically stated otherwise.

Wall décor, signs, ornaments, and similar products should be installed and used appropriately.

Customers are responsible for selecting suitable mounting hardware and ensuring products are securely installed for their particular wall or mounting surface unless mounting hardware and specific installation instructions are supplied with the product.

16. Games and Game Accessories

Snake River Creations produces various family games, game boards, scoring accessories, instruction sheets, and related products.

Rules and instructions supplied with a game may represent commonly used rules, house rules, or our interpretation or adaptation of traditional gameplay.

Rules for traditional games can vary by region, family, organization, or individual preference. Customers are welcome to use their preferred rules.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, Snake River Creations does not claim ownership of traditional games or game concepts that are in the public domain or otherwise owned by third parties.

17. Small Parts and Children's Safety

Some products may contain small parts, including game pegs, dice, tokens, hardware, or other components.

Small parts may present a choking hazard and should be kept away from young children.

Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for a child's age and supervising its use when necessary.

Purchasing a physical product does not transfer ownership of the underlying design, artwork, digital file, photograph, or intellectual property associated with that product unless specifically agreed to in writing.
